- The Buck Creek Spinners and Weavers Guild was founded in early 1981 by Mary Austin, Lyse Rapp, and Deb Jenks in order to share knowledge of spinning, weaving, and dyeing in the Houston area. It was active until at least 2004, if not later.
- Custodial History
- Print presumably made from a photograph taken by Bill Dungate. It came into the possession of Dino Laramie sometime after Dungate's death and was donated by him to the Museum prior to 2020, along with a large number of other Dungate prints and slides. It was accessioned in September/October 2022.
