The first Brownie camera was marketed in 1900. It was priced at $1 and used film which sold for 15 cents a roll. For the first time, the hobby of photography was within the financial reach of almost everyone. The N0. 3A Autographic Kodak Special made in Rochester, U.S.A., was the first camera to have a coupled rangefinder, 1916.
