Description
A small paper envelope from the Columbia Postal Supply Co. addressed to the Postmaster of Smithers. This envelope uses a ‘Columbian Natural Clasp No. 10N’ – a butterfly clasp manufactured by The United States Envelope Co., Springfield, Mass. There are two postmarks on the back: one is likely the sent date – “SILVER CREEK N. Y. / MAY 3 330PM” – and the other is the received date – SMITHERS B. C. / MAY 9 1935”.
