b-c: red box (b) with insert (c). On the top of the box is handwritten "CAPONIZING INSTRUMENTS / J OWENS". On one side of the bottom of the box is stamped "9894. The other end of the bottom of the box is missing

- History Of Use
- Emasculator was used for castration of livestock animals (e.g. cattle). Caponizing instruments are used to neuter chickens by removing their testicles. Items presumably used by donor, J. Owens, known to be a farmer.
