- History / Biographical
- During the 1960s, the Bulkley Valley District Hospital (constructed in 1934) was deemed increasingly obsolete and demands rose for a new, modern building. A renovation project was launched in 1973, adding new facilities while updating part of the 1955 wing. The original 1934 building was demolished in March 1975.
