This is one of 11 photographs sent by the donor from the Alice Eggleston Estate. Alice was the daughter of Willis Eggleston, an early contractor in the Bulkley Valley. Mr. Eggleston was originally from Iowa and worked in the contracting business in Cal

Alice Eggleston, approximately 4 years old, astride a burro which is held by a man in a hat - possibly her father, Willis Eggleston. Written on the back is 'Telkwa, B.C., 1909'.
