- Photo from black photo album which had this written on the first page: "In memory: Howard Sanborn, Hollywood, Calif. Early British Columbia 1900's. Prince Rupert on Skeena River by paddle wheeler to old Hazeltown*** By pack train and small boats on Bulkley River to Telkwa, B.C."
- Inverness Cannery was located on "Cannery Row" in the Skeena Slough. It was the first cannery in B.C., opened in 1876. It closed in 1950 and the building burned down in 1973.
