- Jack was born in Wales in 1880 and he came to stay in Smithers in 1920. He died in 1949 and was married to Mary who died in 1957. She was born in Ireland in 1886 and they had a son named Roy. Axel Anderson was born in Sweden in 1880 and he was married to Lydia who was born in Sweden in 1888. They lived on a farm near Chicken Creek, had four daughters and five sons.
