- The Golden Twilight Caravan drove from Seattle to Hazelton over the summer of 1930 in order to advocate the creation of an Alaska-Yukon-Pacific highway. The trip was led by P.E. Sands, head of the Sands Motor Company, in the same Studebaker car he had driven from Seattle to Hazelton in 1911.

- "TELL EVERYONE HELLO - Wylie Hemphill, president of the Seattle Chamber of Commerce, bids good-bye to P.E.
