Description
White oval shaped dish. The rim is rolled toward the inside making the sides appear hollow. The rim is gilded in two bands with'BABY'S PLATE' in a rounded rectangular frame. The outsides of the dish are rounded with an embossed band separating it from the base. The base flares out slightly. On the face of the plate is a painting of a mother rabbit doing up a child rabbits coat. In the background are three more child rabbits. Imprinted on the back is 'REG NO 557903'. Also on the back is a picture of a rabbit w/'PETER RABBIT',COPYRIGHT F.W. & CO. LTD, GRIMWADES, MADE IN ENGLAND, BEATRIX POTTER' in blue print.
