- Description
- A Black metal plane with adjustable shoe consisting of a flexible piece of metal on the bottom with upright hinges at both ends. These hinges connect to flat metal levers which adjust the flexibility of the shoe. The round knob called a horn is attached to these, and controls the leverage & adjustments. Across from this is an angled plate that supports the wedge and bit. The handle is attached at the top and a screw below that adjusts the depth of the cut. The bit has 2 plates, secured by a skew that can adjust the depth of the bevelled cutting edge. The wedge has a door lock/release handle to secure it in place. This mounts on the outside of the bit. The whole thing weighs approx. 3 - 4 pounds.
