Description
A small, glass bottle with a short body, gently sloping shoulders and a long, very slim straight neck. The neck has a narrow, flared lip at the top, and the glass is unseamed. The neck also has measure markings (in white) from bottom to top, graduated (in 1's) from '0' to '10'. On the front of the bottle is a small, oval greyish patch which is designed to be written on.
History Of Use
Glass bottle that was presumably used in the Telkwa Creamery which operated from 1939-1969. Apparently glass test-tube-like bottles such as this one were filled with cream and put in a centrifuge. As the tubes spun in the centrifuge, the butterfat rose to the surface.
