- This is a white stone projectile point, likely used as a spear point. It both ends come together as distinct points with a widening in the middle. The white stone is a dull brown on one side. There is some black colouration on one face of the stone.
- Narrative
- In an e-mail to Museum staff in September 2017, Mark Curry wrote: "It would have been September of 1982. We took a hike on the mountain to Crater Lake and I found it on the level section leading to the lake. I remember it was a stunning fall day and the dog was snuffling about for voles."
- History Of Use
- Sue and Dick Harrison gave this item to Museum staff member Eric Holdijk. This item had been in turn given to Sue by her brother (?) Mark Curry. Mark Curry had found it while hiking near Crater Lake on Hudson Bay Mountain. It was found on the level section leading to Crater Lake in 1982.
