- Simple gold chain with oval centre-piece, set with four small opals with a larger opal in the centre. The chain is long and double stranded. Where the two strands are held together, written on the latch is the letters "H.F." as well as illegible text.

- Narrative
- Part of a larger donation from Art and May Simpson. Art came to the Bulkley Valley in 1925. May came to the Valley in 1924. Mr. Simpson worked at Duthie Mine. He owned his own business from the late 20s to 1946. The couple lived at 3849 16th Ave. from 1950s to 1998. Mr. Simpson died May, 1997. Mrs. Simpson went to live at the Bulkley lodge October 1998. The donation was given by son and daughter, William Simpson and Marge Buchanan.
