Description
a) A small, grey, metal canteen with a black screw on lid. The lid is attached to the canteen by a small metal chain. b) The green covering for the canteen. The covering is secured with two metal snaps that leave a small opening for the lid of the canteen. On the back there is a fabric loop with a piece of bent metal through it. The inside of the canteen is lined with multi-coloured felt.
Narrative
Used by the donor's wife's grandfather in World War Two.
