- This plane is one of 3 donated by Angus Kerr; 1971.52.3 a-c
- History Of Use
- Mr. Angus Kerr settled in the Quick area and began farming. Kerr road is named after him. He passed away in Oct.94. No other information available at this time. This is one of the 3 different moulding planes donated by him. This plane is smaller than the other two. It is called a Hollow or Fork Staff because it has a groove beside the hollow and the blade is forked. These type of moulding were used to define the ceilings from the walls and for trim on other things.
