Description
A brown long neck bottle with 'Labatt's Pilsner' label that is glued to it. The label is blue, gold, white and black. There's also a smaller label around the neck of the bottle that reads 'Enjoy the Pilsen flavor, LUCK LAGER BREWERIES LTD. NEW WESTMININSTER AND VICTORIA, B.C. CONTENTS 12 FLU-- TRADE MARK 2'. The writing is in blue, red, and black. On the bottom of the bottle it reads 'MADE IN 2377 W.S. CANADA'. There are 3 designs also on the bottom of the bottle.
Narrative
In 1870 the East and Midwest had the shape of the beer bottle standardized, and a wired on cork closure was used. By 1890 the West, too, had embossed bottles, which came in pint and quart sizes.
