History Of Use

History Of Use
Harness was purchased by Wolfgang Doehler for his hobby farm in the Kispiox Valley in the 1980s. It was second hand when purchased from an unnamed Bulkley Valley farmer. Harness could be over 50 years old, but exact date is unknown.

A wooden frame to fit over the horses back and on which bags of goods are lashed. - two frames made of 1"square wood joined at the top to form an "A" shape ( the top ends passing one another 11/2"; joined together and joined with bolts. - attached to the lower ends of the frames are boards shaped to fit the horse's back.
