History Of Use
THE DONOR, THOR PAULSON, BUILT THE TELKWA CREAMERY IN 1938 AND MANAGED IT UNITL 1942. HE MOVED TO WILLIAMS LAKE IN 1947 AND MOVED BACK TO TELKWA AND BOUGHT THE CREAMERY. HE OWNED AND OPERATED IT FOR 29 YEARS. THESE WERE THOR'S COLD CHISELS, USED FOR REPAIRING THE EQUIPMENT, PRIMARILY FOR SHAPING AND CHISELING AFTER IT HAD COOLED. SOME OF THE EQUIPMENT WAS RUN BY STEAM.

Description
A small, upright, rectangular wooden rack painted black. The thick bottom is solid, with slightly rounded edges. There are four small, circular cutouts of rubber nailed to the bottom at each corner. A tall (10.5 cm.) cylindrical post is at each corner. The thin, flat top has twelve small (0.6 cm.) holes. The round holes are all the same size and spaced equal distances apart in order that the rack can hold the glass testing bottles in an upside-down position.
Narrative
The rack is apparently hand-made. Presumably this rack was used at the Telkwa Creamery which operated from 1939-1969 in Telkwa.

History Of Use
The Pecten Weyla Alata is an index fossil from the Jurassic Mesozoic era. It was found in the Spatsizi area and can be locally found on Dome Mountain or in the Telkwa range.

Round aluminum pot. Presumably this pot was used at the Telkwa Creamery which operated from 1939-1969. In addition, it is presumable that this pot was used to hold butter as it was heated over a flame in order that the moisture content of the butter could be measured.
