History / Biographical
Henry Motors was opened in April 1925 as the "largest, most up-to-date and best equipped Auto Service Station in Northern B.C." It served Smithers for almost a decade before filing for bankruptcy in August 1934 due to the Depression. The vacant Henry Motors building was later used as an automobile service station by George Wall (beginning in 1936).
