1997.51.18b: Is a long silver metal referred to as a "Universal Holder for safety razor blades" 11.4cm long, with two 2cm flat pieces attached at either end. The back of the long piece is rounded with the two flat pieces at either end. This would be used for inserting the blades into the stropper.
1997.51.18c: is a grey flannel bag 15cm x 13cm drawstring bag which the stropper fits into. Inside the bag is a long narrow pocket which the stropper holder fits into.

Description
The object has a hard leather case with retrackable cloth tape. Leather case is brown and the stitching is starting to separate. There is a brass knob on the top which is secured by a brass screw which threads through from the bottom of the case. The tape has a 12.8 cm piece of 1.5cm wide leather strap hand sewn onto the beginning of it and has a brass tab on the end. Fabric measure has some numbers visible but is quite worn. "Hockley - England - Abbey" is inscribe on the top.
