Arrangement
Most of the items from 2020.36 and 2021.1 were found grouped in individual envelopes based on their subject and the date they appeared in the paper. Others were found in envelopes arranged alphabetically by the surname of the person who submitted the photos. This original order has not been retained, as only a small representative portion of the thousands of photographs originally discovered in Room 6 were kept by the museum, with the rest being returned to their donors or disposed of. The photos are now arranged by their P Numbers, which were assigned based on the order in which they were scanned.
Digital photos which were found on CDs have been kept in their original order, though only a small sample have been retained. The physical CDs have been disposed of.
The negatives are arranged in files according to the year, month, and (sometimes) date in which they appear in the Interior News.
