Description

Description
A stamp with a black plastic handle connected to a metal piece; inside are bands of rubber stretched over a rounded cross piece and a series of rotating wheels. There are four bands of rubber. On one band is '1946, 1947, 1948, 1949, 1950, 1951, Rec'd, Ans'd, Ent'd, Paid' A.M., P.M.' inscribed backwards. On anther band is the abreviations for all twelve months inscribe backwards. The other two bands (inscribed backwards) have '1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 - +'. 'Front' is inscribed on the handle. 'Pullman' is inscribed on the metal part.

a) A folder in the shape of a totem pole in shades of brown and red with green and white accents. On the front is the BC crest with "1858-1958 CENTENARY" written in red lettering. The inside of the folder is white and red with the words "Welcome to British Columbia's Centennial Celebrations" written across the folded bottom. On the back is the same picture of the totem pole. b) A rectangular postcard with pictures of snowcapped mountains and totem poles across the front. The BC centennial crest and the title "Come to British Columbia's Centennial Celebrations in 1958" are also on the front. On the back is the title "POST CARD", a space for the stamp, and a brown patch of paper that has been torn from a scrapbook page. On each corner are leftover pieces of tape and residue from the tape. c) A rectangular postcard with small pictures of a 1900's couple, the Parliament Buildings in Victoria B.C., Old Fort Langley B.C., and Malkin Memorial Bowl, Vancouver B.C.
