Ellen Hankin Widen was born December 1903 in Hagwilget to Herbert Hankin and Annie Tiljoe. She married Emil Widen in 1922, marriage certificate indicates she resided in both Hagwilget and Moricetown (Witset) at the time. Emil and Ellen later resided in Houston, and Telkwa. According to donor (granddaughter) Ellen tanned hides and sewed shoes (moccasins), gloves, etc. Ellen died in May 1986. She is referred to as the "first white child born in the Bulkley Valley" in Bulkley Valley Stories.

The Wrigley's British Columbia: 1924, is a gazeteer of cities, towns, villages, stations, post offices and settlements in the Province, described in alphabetical order, followed by a directory of firms, employees, professional men, farmers, fruit-growers, stock-raisers, lumbermen, miners, fishermen, etc., with which is also included a complete street and avenue directory, an alphabetically arranged list of business citizens of the Cities of Vancouver and Victoria, followed by a complete Business and Classified Directory.
The British Columbia and Yukon Directory: 1935, contains an alphabetically arranged list of business houses, private citizens, civic, Provincial and Dominion Governments, Churches, Public and Private Schools, Secret and Benevolent Organizations, Associations, etc., also an Avenue and Street guide and directory of householders for Vancouver and Victoria and Classified and Business Directory.

Inside are four, 12cm high stiff linen collars 28.5cm; Marked STANHOPE 101/2 W.B Norburn74 Tottrnham Court Rd. The date 1951 has been written on in ink.

Other small blue marks around the top of the wrist. Other black text marks illegible. Possible that these are Perrin's Court Suede gloves based on similar styles seen online. In online example left handed glove (missing from this set) was stamped with the glove style.
History Of Use
Perrin or Perrin's of France was founded in 1893. Kid and other leather gloves were sold throughout the early to mid 1900s. Perrin is still in business in 2019.
