From 1931 to 1945 the building housed Margaret Dunlop's Fashion Shop. The shop was then sold in 1945 to Anna Stewart, and then once again in 1947 to Mary Berg and Marjorie Silver. In 1959 it was purchased by the Beerdas and operated by the couple until 2017.
