Simple gold chain with oval centre-piece, set with four small opals with a larger opal in the centre. The chain is long and double stranded. Where the two strands are held together, written on the latch is the letters "H.F." as well as illegible text.

Narrative
Part of a larger donation from Art and May Simpson. Art came to the Bulkley Valley in 1925. May came to the Valley in 1924. Mr. Simpson worked at Duthie Mine. He owned his own business from the late 20s to 1946. The couple lived at 3849 16th Ave. from 1950s to 1998. Mr. Simpson died May, 1997. Mrs. Simpson went to live at the Bulkley lodge October 1998. The donation was given by son and daughter, William Simpson and Marge Buchanan.
Child's metal purse with chain strap. Purse opens with a clasp, and the two halves are joined together by a hinge. The inside is lined with white, worn fabric. The outside is gold coloured metal with a hexagon pattern.

A: Box made of beige paper. Fairly small, and the bottom of the interior is covered in velvete to hold the ring. It has a small rectangular on the front "Henry & Sons Limited". Two leaves branch off on either side of the stem with a circular, clear stone mounted in the centre. A flower is at the top of the stem with its' petels covering part of the upper right leg section of the wishbone. The pin at the back cuts diagonally across the back from the upper left to the bottom right, with the clasp at the bottom.
