History Of Use
The Ansco Memo Miniature Camera was made by Agfa-Ansco of New York. It was marketed as the only camera that could take 50 pictures with one roll of $0.50 film. The Memo Camera, as it was called, sold for $20 and featured an F: 3.5 Anastigmat lens. The camera measured a mere 1.5 inches wide, 4 inches long and 2 inches deep, which was really small for cameras made in 1927.
The camera was known for taking good action and speed photos. The photos could be taken quickly, one after the other. This was a state-of-the-art modern marvel for its time. Interestingly, its speed and action abilities made the Memo Camera a favorite of private detectives.

History Of Use
The original German design of the Kodak Junior Six-16 sported a round end and straight struts, a Kodak Anastigmat 1:7.7 f=12cm lens and a leather case. It had two frame finders: the first, a folding finder incorporated into its housing, and another optical finder was placed near the shutter. It also sported a quick release bar at the front of the bed which released the self-erecting bed. The Junior 616 took 6 exposures of 2-1/2 x 4-1/4 images on a single roll of 616.
The UK design was in production from 1933-1940. It was practically identical to the German built model, with a similar round end and straight struts, and a leather case - but this design had a simple Twindar Lens.
The US-built design was in production from 1935-1937. It sported all of the features of its Continental cousins with the lens being a an octagonal ended, Kodak Anastigmat, a No 1 Kodex shutter and further differentiated from its cousins by the "N" style struts.
The Series II lacks the ribbing on the body leather, but retains the dual viewfinders and "N"-style struts. Versions with round or octagonal shutters are known, including a focus model with a simple instant/time shutter.
The camera is a long rectangle shape. It is black with a silver film advance knob. On the front around the lens are the words "Dick Tracy" in bold letters, with a cartoon picture of a man (Dick Tracy).

History Of Use
The Dick Tracy camera was marketed by the Seymour Products company of Chicago, Illinois circa 1940. The camera was constructed of black plastic Bakelite (an early form of hard, brittle plastic) with a built-in eye-level view finder and fitted with a decorative interchangeable metal face plate. It featured a fixed focus meniscus lens and simple shutter provided snap shot and time exposures.
This miniature camera was capable of producing sixteen photos, 3 x 4 cm in size, on #127 or A8 roll film. This camera design was part of the Chicago Common Style of cameras. This style was very common and originated from Jack Galter’s 1939 United States camera patent #114,324.
