Description
Wooden, ceramic figurine. The base is rectangular and wooden. The front consists of six wide steps with two flared cylinders on the top step. These cylinders are removable and are marked b) and c) of this item. The top portion is a ceramic figurine of a man sitting cross-legged with his hands together on his lap. His robe is a dark gold color. On the front of the platform is a white and black label with indecipherable lettering. Inscribed on the bottom is "GERMANY" and part of an orange label that is indecipherable.
Narrative
Believed to be either a paper weight or a pen holder.
History Of Use
Ornament owned by McInnes family, Pioneer Ranch, North Bulkley, B.C. circa 1920.

One advertisement sign produced by the Imperial Tobacco Co. of Canada that reads 'PREVENT FIRES - Enjoy it, then be sure it's out'. Made of metal with yellow background and red and black center. Also has a picture of a cigarette lite on the front. The sign is very thin, almost as thin as paper.
