Items were created by the BVM as part of a research project in preparation for a 1993 exhibit on aviation in the Bulkley Valley. Participants filled out museum questionnaires about their time working/training at the Smithers airport during the 1940s.
Custodial History
Items were originally created by museum staff/research project participants in the early 1990s and rediscovered in collections in 2020-2021. Items with accession number 2020.27 were found amidst the museum's administrative/collection records in May 2020. Items with accession number 2021.1 were found amidst other material on aviation, stored in Room 6, in January 2021.
