Mrs. Winnifred Coyle and Ellen with Mrs. Davey Scott walking the Aldermere-Telkwa trail. Information written on back of both cards. Notations also written on front of post card. Writing with arrow indicating Ellen Coyle reads "Aldermere's first baby."
The photo is labelled as having been taken at Driftwood School, though this is now not believed to be the case because the number of windows in the building does not match up with other photos of the school. H.R. Hare was a professor of Animal Husbandry at the University of British Columbia who visited the Smithers area for a Dairymen's Association convention in 1921 and a field day (held at George Oulton's farm and in Telkwa) in 1927; the photo may be from either of those two events.
Scope and Content
Photo of a large group of men and women in front of a log building.
