Original Owner
In 1898, around Hagwilget, Johnny Muldoe was digging a hole for a house-post when he found 35 stone clubs cached together. These clubs became part of a private collection of Mr. A.W. Vowell and over the years, some have found their way into museums. It is only speculation that this artifact may have been part of the Hagwilget cache. An Assistant Government Agent, Mr. Barker, had given this to Katie O'Neil who donated it to the Museum.
