Henry Gunderson worked as a tie cutter and farm hand in the Bulkley Valley. He lived with his sister, Gertie Gunderson, and Bill Wilson on the Telkwa High Road (close to Moricetown, B.C.)

Notes
The identity of the creator was determined by an interview with a pioneer settler, Eleanor Robinson, and note on Sept. 28 "$260.00 due me, Henry Gunderson."
