Description
1980.183.4a: A brown tin lunch box with a thick brown leather handle for carrying. The handle is secured at either end with metal clamps. On the bottom is stamped Patented FE 11-8 MA 1313 D.R.P. 550198. Underneath the handle are three sets of ventilation slots on the top of the box
1980.183.4b There is a sturdy brass metal, half circle pull tab at one end for opening the box with Universal L.F.& Co imprinted on it. Once it is opened two sections can be seen. The top section is for a thermos and the bottom part is for the lunch. On the opposite top end of the box, there is a round dented circle where the thermos would have pushed against it from the inside.
