George DeWitt 1929-1987. Mr. DeWitt was the building supervisor for the Federal Building in Smithers from 1954-1987 and active in the community. This is the type of nails used for buildings. It is crudely made and as best that can be ascertained, it was made by machine during the 1815-1850 period
