The field being plowed adjoined the Dockerill farm. The three horse team was "Zevvie", "Charlie", and "The Bell Mare". Croteau bought the deserted Aldermere buildings for $16 and they were rebuilt to become barns, chicken house and pig house. Hubert Station was across the river aobut 3.5 miles east.
