- This doll belonged to Pauline Roy, who later became Pauline Barnes. Pauline was born in 1918 in Dawson City, Yukon. This doll was used during the 1920's, and was named Violet Roy as though she was a member of Paulines family. When Pauline was five years old. She moved with her family to Pitt Meadows B.C. where she lived for the rest of her life.

- This item is a small cream coloured wicker doll buggy with a black metal frame and wheels. The handle is a turned wooden one and was painted black to match the frame and wheels. Inside the bottom of the buggy has a wooden"liner" to support the doll. Around the top edge of the buggy and hood are round pieces of wood encased in the wicker for support. Additional shorter pieces are at the inside bottom and head of the buggy. A small turned wooden handle is attached at the head under the hood. The hood tips forward and is attached to the body of the buggy with metal hardware. Wheels which turn easily may have had a rubber rim..
