- The Bulkley Valley Senior Citizens’ Association is a non-profit society which provides activities and support for seniors living in the Bulkley Valley. It was established as the Senior Citizens Association sometime between the mid-1950s and early 1960s and was officially registered as the Bulkley Valley Senior Citizens’ Association on January 4th 1964, at the recommendation of member Ernest Hann and lawyer L.W. Perry. The BVSCA was instrumental in the establishment of the Pioneer Place retirement home and its adjacent facilities. For more information see finding aid.
