- History / Biographical
- The Board of School Trustees was presumably established around 1947 to manage the newly-created School District #54. Before this, each individual school had had its own Board of Trustees consisting of three members and sometimes an additional Secretary-Treasurer. Today’s Board of Education is made up of 7 members, including a Board Chair and Vice Board Chair.
