History / Biographical
Northern Scribblers Guild was established on August 6 1991 in Burns Lake by three initial members who enjoyed creative writing. The Guild offered workshops to the community and hosted sessions with authors including Shelia Peters, Bridget Moran, Todd Lee, Charles Walden, Barbara Monk, Monty Bassett, and Doris Ray. The Guild published an anthology each year beginning in 1993. As of 2019 it appears the group moved online in 2003 as the Northern Scribblers Online.
