Notes
Bailey (temporary) bridge was built over the Bulkley River after the original bridge was destroyed by and ice jam on Good Friday 1966. The desctruction of the Bulkley River bridge as well as a fire at the pumphouse over the same weekend led the Village of Smithers to declare a state of emergency on Tuesday April 12th 1966. Photos were taken by Angman the following week. Hudson Bay Mountain is seen in the background.
