- History / Biographical
- The name Vera Frank is written on the back of photograph. Vera was the eldest of three daughters born to Scottish settlers Archibald ("Archie") McInnes (1861-1951) and Jessie (nee Aitken) McInnes (1886-1972). Their other two daughters were Ivy and Neva. Archie and his brother Neil worked on the Yukon Telegraph Line and bought land on the North Bulkley in 1904. Archie married Jessie on October 25, 1905 and they named their property Pioneer Ranch.
Vera (1908-1999) married Ivan R. Frank (1903-1966) in 1934. Vera and Ivan had two sons, Donald (b. 1943) and Gordon (b. 1946). Vera, her parents, and her husband are buried in Kitsumgallum Cemetary in Terrace.
Ivy (1909-2001) married Eric G. Strimbold (1897-1969) in 1929. They had two sons (Archie and Frank) and one daughter (Linda). Ivy and Eric are both buried in Topley Cemetary.
Neva (1913-2000) married CNR employee John Nickolichuk (1913-1983). They had two sons (Jack and Innes) and one daughter (Jennifer). Neva and John both passed away in Victoria.

- Notes
- Photo is set on frame of black cardboard labeled with "Eyres, Victoria, B.C." Vera Frank's name is written on the back but the style of the dress looks like early 1900s. Likely her parents' wedding in 1905. This would also explain the difference in age as Archie was 25 years older than Jessie. The dress is also part of the Museum's collection (1987.57.29), donated by Archie Strimbold.
