History / Biographical
Home belonged to George Melville Johnson, a former railroad engineer who had settled in Smithers in 1923, and his wife Theresa, originally from Marseilles, France.
Custodial History
B&W print was donated by Louis Schibli in November 1990. Colour negative was found in collections in February 2021.
