Emil Mesich was the pilot of a single-engine Otter float plane that crashed near Smithers, B.C., in September, 1982. Mesich and four American hunters (Dan Bonaguidi, Steven Bonaguidi, John Marconi, and Jay Ford Blunk) all died.
