John Yellich was born 1907 or 1908 in Croatia. His brother Tony was also born in Croatia in 1910. John's other brother, Steve Jr. (b. 1922), and sister, Mary Watson (b. 1923) were born in Canada. John's father was Steve Sr. Yellich, and his mother was Mika Yellich.
