"Mon. Mar 20. Dear Friends: - Have intended to write for the last month. Have not got to it yet but [?] wonder how you are -- We have all been sick with Grippe Weather is so changeable now -- Had you heard of Mr, Kynch's death -- So suddenly. Went to hopsital on Thurs. P.M. & died Fri. A.M. & formerly Molly Wakefield at Telkwa died. & left a 13 dy [sic] old baby. Mrs. Ward has been in hospital all winter to [sic] -- Mrs. Raymond has a baby boy also Mrs [Douney] has a baby boy Dr. White stoped [sic] between trains last week -- Dr. Wallace has enlisted -- leaves Apr. 10th How is Marjorie - Did Mr Killam send the picture -- He said he'd attend to it at once -- Let me know -- I'll see him again if he has not sent it -- My Father is in poor health & I may go home anytime -- I am going to write a letter before long -- you write -- Mrs [Bigerow?] & Miss Miller are in Tacoma Wash. -- Love to all -- Jessie Howes"
