- History / Biographical
- Albert William (Bill) Vinson was born in Basingtoke, England on May 26, 1909 and immigrated to Nova Scotia in April, 1910. Vinson was Game Warden in Smithers, B.C., from November 1, 1946 to August 31, 1948. Vinson also owned and operated Smithers Second Hand Store until it burned down on February 2, 1949. During 1948, he was a polling station Deputy Returning Officer. On November 8, 2011, Vinson passed away in Prince George, B.C. For further information, see finding aid.
