History / Biographical
George Wright was a CNR Conductor who worked on the construction of the Grand Trunk Pacific. He served on the first Smithers Village or Municipal Council.
George Wright's note: "Myself (Gordon Wright) as a baby in my father's suitcase. The suitcase itself, which my father carried to work every day until it wore out is an authentic piece of railroad history."
