History / Biographical

Came from a black photo album. Inside the first page was P2644 and this note "To: Joan Muriel and Allan McGill. With Best Wishes. From the United Church Sunday School. Smithers, B.C. June 30th 1935." Postcard format. Sent from Frances Cross in Smithers to AC2 (aircraftman 2nd class) Johnny Dunlop, R106816, at an RCAF Manning Depot in Toronto. Postcard reads: "Dear Johnny - Does this make you homesick? Did you say it never rained here? Well I'm here + it's raining + I'm leaving. We are on our way to Vancouver by car. I still think Rupert beats this. Glad to get your card. Frances Cross."
