- History / Biographical
- Father Godfrey came to Smithers in 1911 and served as the Chaplain to the Sisters of St. Ann (who ran the hospital) for 19 years. Jean Kilpatrick was born in 1898 and came to Smithers in 1917 and married Norman Kilpatrick in 1923. Mrs. Kirby was married to Jim Kirby. They had an only son, Ernie, who drowned.
