- Pictures in series P10214-10227 were given to Harry Kruisselbrink by Bernice and Dave Aspeslet. Bernice (d. 2020) was the daughter of Jack Lee, the guide hired by the United States Air Force (USAF) B-36 Recovery and Demolition Team under the command of Captain Paul Gardella. The team arrived in Smithers by helicopter on September 21st 1953. On September 22nd the team left Smithers for the Kispiox Valley and from there attempted to reach the crash site on Mount Kologet with Jack Lee as the guide. Supplies were taken by truck from Smithers to a ranch owned by Marty Allen in Kispiox Valley. Other USAF team members were: Captain Horace Skelton (helicopter pilot), Captain James Bailey (weapons officer), and Sergents Charles Toulbert, Harold Harvey and Jerre White.
